Our Team
Mount Vernon Crew is beginning our tenth season and has proven that we have the drive, dedication and talent to be competitive in scholastic rowing. This year our team has grown to over 50 members, with a strong showing in our men’s and women’s novice programs. Head Coach Ryan Ward leads our team for an eighth season with invaluable volunteer coaching assistance and a dedicated booster organization.
Mount Vernon Crew rows out of the Fort Belvoir Marina and the Mount Vernon Yacht Club. The team would like to thank both the Fort Belvoir Marina and the Mount Vernon Yacht Club for their support and willingness to accommodate us.
We would also like to thank our local community as well as Mount Vernon High School Principal Mrs. Nardos King, and our Athletic Director and his staff for their continued support of our program. To our coaches, parents and families, we appreciate all the things you do and time you spend just to make it possible for us to row.
