Fundraising
The Mount Vernon High School Crew Team does not receive any funding from Fairfax County Public Schools. It thereby falls upon the MV Crew Booster organization to raise funds to pay for our coaches, insurance, regatta fees and equipment. There are six major fundraising activities for the team and many minor ones. All team members are expected to participate in major fundraisers. The organization also gratefully accepts donations from individuals and corporations who would like to support our team; see our Sponsorship Form for more information.

Crew Gift Cards--Buy gift cards and donate money to MV Crew at the same time. The order form is here. Talk to Darlene Doss for details.

ZPIZZA – a new fundraiser. They cost $10 and you get a pizza with unlimited toppings. There is no expiration date, you can get your pizza whenever you want it. There is a store on Route One, beside Applebees, one in Springfield by Home Depot and one in Lorton. All checks should be made payable to MV Crew. Be sure to tell your friends and neighbors.

Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) --Remember to spread the word that we are now an organization that the Combined Federal Campaign recognizes, which means that federal employees can support MV Crew by donate money through the CFC (pre-taxed). Our code is 70385. The website is www.cfcnca.org . Those who are not federal employees can go to this website and make a one- time, pre-taxed donation.
